The Magic of the Cities.

Zen promotes the rediscovery of the obvious, which is so often lost in its familiarity and simplicity. It sees the miraculous in the common and magic in our everyday surroundings. When we are not rushed, and our minds are unclouded by conceptualizations, a veil will sometimes drop, introducing the viewer to a world unseen since childhood. ~ John Greer

What an interesting scene with the spot of sky and the different brick and tile textures! The pink facade adds to the subtle colours.

There is a surprising tension in here that I don't understand. It's so beautiful with all the echoes of pink, and the tile and the passageway leading us deeper and deeper into the image. Excellent entry for the theme.

I like the pink, plant lined passageway! It must be fantastic when the flowers and and plants and warmth of summer are in "full bloom!"

Hey, a plant to match your abode! That's cool. I love the artistic paving and the carefully trimmed shrubbery along the left wall. This is a pleasing passageway to look upon. Are the colors manipulated or fairly true? That coral is so lovely.

PS- nice to hear one of my fave Ramsey Lewis compositions covered in the music today!
