The Magic of the Cities.

Zen promotes the rediscovery of the obvious, which is so often lost in its familiarity and simplicity. It sees the miraculous in the common and magic in our everyday surroundings. When we are not rushed, and our minds are unclouded by conceptualizations, a veil will sometimes drop, introducing the viewer to a world unseen since childhood. ~ John Greer

Bellas Artes

Palacio de Bellas Artes ("Palace of Fine Arts") is the premier opera house of Mexico City. The building is famous for both its extravagant art nouveau exterior in imported Italian white marble and its murals by Diego Rivera, Rufino Tamayo, David Alfaro Siqueiros, and José Clemente Orozco.
You can see pictures of the interior here.

Wow. The quality of your photos are just mind-boggling. It looks like you spent a lifetime in Photoshop fixing them up to perfection. I just ordered a new Canon and a new lens to replace those I have but after seeing what you are doing I might have ordered the wrong thing.

Don't sell yourself short. Your photography is excellent.

A very nice photograph with your post today.

Easter greetings from Abraham Lincoln in Brookville, Ohio.

A great building accompanied by soulful music Love both. I'm familiar with Orozco and Rivera, but now have to learn about Tamayo and Siqueiros. Any photos from the inside? Happy Easter to you and your family!

How did you find time to post during Semana Santa? It was wild here!!
